When making fully custom dice, it is a good idea to work with a dice designer who can put together a test cast before we send the design to a factory. That way, the designer can list the materials used, the pouring order, etc., so the factory can mimic their dice to the best of its ability. The factory will then make a mold based on their design.
The mold is one of the highest costs in a custom dice project, so make sure that your .stl file is the final version. Once the factory makes the mold, they will make some test casts of your dice for approval. If those are given the go-ahead, they will then begin the manufacturing process.
Packaging: Our dice factories also offer custom dice bags for each project. These range from a simple faux-velvet bag with a screen-printed logo to leather bags with metal charms. If you are interested in custom packaging, let us know, and we can add it to your quote.
